Sherry D.

Sherry D. has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2000 and continuing to the present. Sherry began their career as a Spanish Teacher at Friends Meeting School and worked there for eight years. Sherry then transitioned to the education sector, working as an Adjunct Teacher at Frederick Community College from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they collaborated on a program aimed at improving students' job prospects and transition to credit level courses. In 2013, Sherry joined the Literacy Council of Frederick as the ABE Coordinator and Volunteer Tutor, where they provided one-on-one ESL tutoring and managed relationships between students and tutors. Additionally, they served as the Coordinator for Adult Basic Education and handled intake of students. Sherry joined Towson University in 2015 as an ESOL Specialist.
