Charles Marohn is the President and Co-Founder of Strong Towns, a nationally-recognized non-profit organization that focuses on shaping the conversation on growth, development, and the future of cities. Prior to Strong Towns, Charles worked as a Planner, Engineer, and Owner at the Community Growth Institute, where Charles was passionate about the future of Small Town America. Charles also worked as an Engineer at Widseth Smith Nolting, where Charles served as a city engineer for small towns in central Minnesota. Charles has a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution.
