Ella Hanley is currently a Research Assistant Co-op at the Fishell Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, beginning in July 2024. Previously, Ella held various leadership and mentorship roles at Strong Women, Strong Girls since September 2021, serving as College Mentor, Chapter Director, Mentor Love Coordinator, and Cohort Leader. Ella also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at CORE Lab at Northeastern University since January 2022 and completed a Research Assistant Co-op at Harvard Medical School in late 2023, where responsibilities included conducting behavioral assays and performing surgeries on mice. Prior work experience includes serving as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Spring Run Community Pool from June 2017 to August 2022. Ella is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University, with an expected graduation in 2025.
