Megan Surso has extensive experience in the education field, with a focus on special education. Megan is currently the Preschool Director and Elementary Special Education Coordinator at Strongsville City School District, where they manage large groups of teachers and assistant teachers and provides technical support for special education programming. Prior to this role, they served as the Special Education Supervisor at Parma City School District from 2014 to 2017. From 2006 to 2014, Megan worked at Upper Arlington City Schools, where they held various positions including Elementary Intervention Services Coordinator and Intervention Specialist. Megan Surso has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching, which they obtained from the University of Dayton from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they also earned a minor in Reading Endorsement and became an Intervention Specialist for Mild/Moderate disabilities. In addition, from 2007 to 2009, Megan attended Florida State University where they specialized in Autism and Severe Cognitive Disability, obtaining a degree in Severe Disabilities K-12.
