Jakey Toor

Jakey Toor, M.Ed, is an experienced educator and somatic coach currently serving as a SIY Certified Teacher at SIY Global since April 2018, where practical mindful leadership and emotional intelligence tools are taught globally. As a founding member of Artists In The Classroom, Jakey advocates for arts education and organizational culture enhancement. In addition to contributing to the Conscious Leadership Guild and training as a somatic coach with the Strozzi Institute, Jakey has a background in dance education, having taught at the San Francisco Unified School District and performed with Cuicacalli Dance Company. Academic credentials include a Master of Education from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre & Dance.
