Katina Bishop has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Katina began their career as an Assistant Teacher at the Strozzi Institute in January 2017 and later served as the Director of Enrollment until February 2019. At the same time, they also became a Member of the Board of Directors at the Institute for Social Advancement in January 2018. In July 2019, they joined The Third Harmony Documentary Film as an Associate Producer for a year. Simultaneously, they worked at the Metta Center for Nonviolence in the Programs and Curriculum role from April 2019 to July 2020. Katina also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the SEEDS Community Resolution Center from February 2012 to February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Development Consultant at USHS from February 2014 to December 2016, at The Ada Initiative from July 2014 to December 2014, and at Foster Youth In Action from October 2012 to December 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Fund Development Contractor at generationFive from November 2011 to an undefined end date. Katina began their career in 2000 as the Development Director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation until July 2011.
Katina Bishop has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in English and Creative Writing from Mills College. Katina also holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Scripps College. In addition to their academic degrees, Katina has also obtained a certification as a Somatic Coach from the Strozzi Institute.
