Elisa Gibson

Elisa Gibson is a skilled laboratory technician with extensive experience in protein production and molecular biophysics. Currently working at The Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) since October 2022, Elisa specializes in expressing and purifying recombinant proteins. Previously, at Tikkle Scientific from October 2020 to October 2022, Elisa provided Rapid PCR Covid-19 testing services to the Film & Television industry, delivering timely results. Elisa's earlier tenure at SGC from September 2012 to October 2020 involved diverse responsibilities, including the expression and purification of over 30 recombinant human proteins, protein quality assessment, and data management. Education includes an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology Technologist-Forensics from Fleming College, completed in 2013. Additional experience includes roles as an inventory clerk at WIS International and as a hostess/baker at Tim Hortons.
