Dave Kucera

Dave Kucera is currently a Board Member at the Structured Finance Association. Dave has also previously served as a Board Member for Marquette University's Commercial Banking Council and as an Investment Banker for First Chicago Corporation.

Dave has over 28 years of experience in the financial industry. Dave began their career in 1984 as an Investment Banker for First Chicago Corporation. In 1992, they joined BMO Capital Markets as Managing Director and Head of the U.S. Securitization Group. Dave held this position for 20 years until 2012. During their time with the company, Dave provided financing to companies in the US and internationally in dozens of industries. In 2009, Dave became the Head of Group and served in this role until 2012.

Since leaving BMO Capital Markets, Dave has taken on several new roles. In 2013, they became involved with HFS Chicago Scholars. And in 2016, they joined Capital One as a Board Member.

Dave Kucera has a Masters of Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance, marketing, and accounting. Dave also has a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, and marketing from Marquette University. In addition, they have completed an International Organizational Leadership Program from the University of California, Berkeley and an Advanced Leadership Program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Dave is also certified from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in Series 7, 24, 63, and 79.
