Mike Trenaman is an experienced professional in software and big data development, currently serving as Development Team Lead and Big Data Developer at StructureIt since February 2022. Previously, at Black Swan Data from January 2018 to February 2022, Mike held the position of Lead Data Engineer, focusing on big data projects that analyze consumer trends through social media conversations. Prior roles include Senior Java Developer at Sapiens, Senior Consultant at LV= insurance, and Lead Software Engineer at BAE Systems, where Mike led the development of critical safety systems for the London Underground. Mike's technical expertise encompasses Scala, Apache Spark, Kotlin, Java, and various cloud and database technologies. Mike holds a degree in Software Engineering from Aberystwyth University.
