Orlando García

Orlando García has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Orlando started their career as a Software Developer at Universidad Rafael Landívar, where they worked for three years. Orlando then joined ITLigencia, S.A as a Software Developer, where they developed .Net Web Forms applications and worked with Oracle databases.

In 2015, Orlando joined Grupo Distelsa and took on the role of Programming Analyst. Orlando was responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting internal systems using various technologies such as .Net, Entity Framework, and LINQ. Orlando also had direct communication with stakeholders and contributed to the complete development life cycle.

Orlando was promoted to the role of Software Development Team Lead at Grupo Distelsa in 2020, where they led a team of three software engineers. Orlando managed tasks, provided coaching and code reviews to ensure the delivery of quality software. Orlando also had direct communication with stakeholders and contributed to the development of internal systems using Angular, C# .Net, and connecting to Oracle and MS SQL databases.

In 2022, Orlando joined HealthCare.com as a Software Engineer. Orlando was involved in backend and frontend development of systems hosted on AWS using Spring Boot, JavaScript, and PUG. Orlando also worked on operations tooling development using Retool. Additionally, they took on the role of Scrum Master, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching the team, and participating in Scrum of Scrums bi-weekly sessions.

Most recently, Orlando joined RELISH as a Software Engineer in 2023.

Orlando García obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Rafael Landívar, where they studied from 2008 to 2014.

Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications such as "Microservicios con ASP.NET 5, Angular, MongoDB, Docker" from Udemy in September 2021, and "Scrum Master Certified (SMC)" from Scrum Alliance in June 2020.
