Claus Kappe has a diverse and extensive work experience. Claus started their career as a Chief Operations Officer (COO) in the Danish Army, where they developed leadership skills and managed logistics operations. After leaving the military, they worked at FK Distribution A/S as a Project Manager, focusing on optimizing supply chain and logistics processes. Claus then joined Nilfisk-Advance, where they progressed from manager to General Manager (GM) and divisional Chief Operations Officer (COO), responsible for supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and quality management. Following that, they worked at Eltel Networks as a Director and COO, leading business transformation and improving operations. Claus then moved to FOSS, where they held roles as Head of Global Supply Chain & Logistics and Head of Production, overseeing supply chain strategy, LEAN manufacturing, logistics management, and improvement. Currently, they are working at Struers as a COO and VP of Operations, responsible for end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and service. Throughout their career, Claus has demonstrated their ability to drive operational excellence, implement LEAN principles, and deliver results across various industries.
Claus Kappe earned their MBA degree in Strategy, Leadership, and General Management from Henley Business School between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed a BSc.(HD) degree in Supply Chain Management with a focus on Leadership, Operations, and Performance Management from Copenhagen Business School from 2002 to 2004. In 1996 to 1999, Claus attended the Military Academy where they obtained a BA in Officers Training, specializing in Leadership and Operations Management.
