Marieke Smeets

Marieke Smeets is a financial professional with extensive experience in auditing and financial control. Currently serving as a Financial Controller at Strukton since November 2023, Marieke previously worked at EY from September 2017 to December 2023, progressing from Staff Auditor to Senior Staff Auditor. Marieke also held the position of Team Leader of Sales Settlements at Ahold from June 2013 to August 2017 and completed an internship in auditing at EY in early 2017. Marieke holds both a Master’s degree (2016-2017) and a Bachelor’s degree (2012-2016) in Accountancy & Control from the University of Amsterdam.
