Ruud Smit is a skilled professional with extensive experience in technical consulting, engineering, and service roles within the building services and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Technisch Consultant at Spie Building Service since January 2019, Ruud specializes in the management and operation of ground energy systems, as well as the optimization and implementation of software improvements. With a long tenure at Strukton starting in May 2000 as a Calculator/Engineer, Ruud focuses on the calculation and engineering of building-related installations, particularly in measurement and control technology, heat pumps, and ground energy.
