Adam Kolmačka

Adam Kolmačka has a diverse work experience in the field of product design. Adam currently works as a Product Designer at STRV, where they are responsible for leading the entire design process, from ideation to delivering fully functional products. Adam'srole includes collaborating with clients and stakeholders, creating high-fidelity prototypes, building functional UX, and crafting visually strong UI and design systems. Adam also takes interest in speaking at universities and public events on design topics.

Before joining STRV, Adam worked as a Product Designer at Animefest.CZ, where they redesigned their website and worked on smaller projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Product/Webflow Designer, specializing in design, branding, and Webflow solutions to help businesses establish an online presence.

Adam also gained valuable experience at Dactyl Group, where they had various roles. Adam started as an intern and progressed to become a Product Designer. Adam oversaw the complete creative process, including helping clients shape their ideas, developing strong UX, and designing visually strong UIs. As the design team grew, they became a Lead Product Designer and later a Product Design Consultant, overseeing their colleagues' work and contributing to the promotion of the in-house design system, DactylKit.

Adam Kolmačka earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in Information Technology at the Secondary School of Informatics and Communications from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Adam also obtained an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 83/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in June 2020.
