Michal Klacko

Michal Klacko is currently the Director of Engineering (Backend) at STRV, where Michal oversees the Backend Department and leads a team of around 30 people. Michal is responsible for developing the department's vision and strategy, setting short- and long-term goals, managing team structure and growth, hiring talent, ensuring backend standards are met, and exploring new tech directions. Prior to this role, Michal worked as a Software Engineer focusing on Architecture and Backend development at Venzeo, and also held a backend development role at TrashOut. Michal Klacko holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from the University of Zilina.
