Michel Bakouny

Michel Bakouny is a Venture Architect with extensive experience in launching and growing ventures across the UAE and Egypt. Currently at Stryber since September 2023, Michel previously held a similar role at Modus Capital from March 2022 to September 2023, where notable projects included an Edtech platform for school inspections, a SportsTech platform for booking sports courts, and a Fintech app focused on financial inclusion. Prior to this, Michel served as Senior Associate Project Manager at iPay from December 2017 to April 2022, managing successful ventures such as integrated payments solutions for e-commerce in Africa and multiple VAS campaigns with telecom providers. Earlier experience includes an internship at BLOM BANK s.a.l. and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the American University of Beirut, earned between 2013 and 2017.
