Sam Moharir

Sam Moharir has over 30 years of work experience in various roles. Sam is currently the Head of Business Development MENA at STRYDE since August 2020. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Managing Director of POS Oilfields International from April 2016 to August 2020.

Earlier in their career, Sam held the position of Senior Director - System Sales at FairfieldNodal from July 2014 to December 2015, where they managed global system sales and customer service teams. Sam also worked as the Sales Director EAME-ISC at INOVA Geophysical from April 2010 to June 2014 and as the General Manager at INOVA Geophysical FZE from November 2007 to June 2014.

Before that, Sam worked at ION Geophysical as the Director Sales & Rental, EAME-ISC from October 2008 to March 2010. Sam also served as the Regional Marketing Manager at Aram Systems Inc from June 2005 to September 2008, where they were responsible for setting up the Dubai regional office and managing financial and operational aspects.

Sam's career began at Input/Output Inc in December 1991, which is now known as ION Geophysical. Sam initially joined as an internal sales engineer and was later promoted to Sales Engineer, handling direct sales and customer relations.

Throughout their professional journey, Sam has demonstrated expertise in business development, sales, and international operations management.

Sam Moharir completed their Advanced Levels and O Levels from the British School in the Netherlands from 1970 to 1982. Sam then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Business and Finance from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 1998.
