Víctor Villamizar

Víctor Villamizar has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and sales in the oil and energy industry. Víctor currently holds the position of Head of Business Development - LATAM at STRYDE since 2022. Previously, they worked at Axxis Geo Solutions (AGS) as the Director of Business Development from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2018, they served in various roles at Geokinetics Inc., including Director of Sales, Latin America, LATAM Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, Country Manager, and Operations Manager. Víctor started their career at Geokinetics as a Field Geophysicist in 1996 and gradually moved up the ranks to become a Project Manager and Quality Control - Geo HoD. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for developing new businesses and opportunities, implementing organizational changes, and building strong relationships with key customers and government regulators in Latin American countries.

Víctor Villamizar's education history includes completing a GMP program in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School in 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from IE Business School between 2008 and 2009. In 2004, they completed a Strategic Planning and Process Management Course from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Víctor's undergraduate studies were focused on Petroleum Engineering, as they obtained a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de América from 1990 to 1996.
