David Shaw

David Shaw has extensive experience in the medical device industry, having worked at Stryker from February 2004 to September 2021 in various roles including Operator, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, and Computer Numerical Control Machinist/Trainer. In the role of Regulatory Affairs Specialist for the Centralised Economic Operator Team, David ensured compliance with the European Union Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR) and facilitated market access in EU countries. Currently, David holds the position of RA Project Manager and Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Cork, Ireland. Educational qualifications include a Level 6 Project Management distinction from Cork College of FET, a Level 8 in Regulatory Affairs of Medical Technology and Quality from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, and a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from Griffith College Cork, among other certifications in manufacturing and quality management.
