John Wheeler is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the fields of product development, quality engineering, and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer in R&D Product Engineering at Stryker since October 2017, John has led quality initiatives in new product development and manufacturing transfers, focusing on validation and continuous improvement processes. Prior to Stryker, John was a Senior Product Engineer at Cummins Inc., overseeing a team that supported high-volume manufacturing of engine components and facilitated engineering changes. John began his career at Cummins Inc. as an intern, contributing to design support and quality analysis efforts. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a High School diploma with a focus on Engineering from Columbus North High School.
