Yavor Nanev

Yavor Nanev has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Yavor started their career at Atlantic Aviation Group in 2014 and later joined Apple as a Technical Advisor in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Software Engineer at Daft.ie where they were responsible for various tasks such as developing, implementing, and testing new features, fixing bugs, and coordinating maintenance and testing of XML input files.

Subsequently, Yavor worked at AIB in different roles including Microservice/Java Software Engineer, Java Backend Developer, and QA Engineer. At AIB, they gained experience in software development, peer reviews, and handling tickets.

In 2019, Yavor joined Optum as a Software Engineer and stayed there until 2022. Following that, they worked at Commerzbank Digital Technology Centre Sofia as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2022 to March 2023.

Currently, Yavor is working at DIGITALL as a Senior Software Engineer, and starting from March 2023, they will take on the role of a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Strypes. Overall, Yavor Nanev has demonstrated their skills and expertise in software engineering through various roles and experiences.

Yavor Nanev holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the Professional School of Construction, Architecture, and Geodesy from 2001 to 2006, specializing in Geodesy. In addition to their formal education, Yavor has obtained various certifications, including ones in Java, Kubernetes, Microservices, Spring, RESTful APIs, and PowerShell scripting. Yavor has also received a CloudU Certificate from Cloud University and completed a course on Cassandra Database Modelling offered by DataStax.
