Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson is an experienced engineering consultant with a strong background in nuclear engineering and asset management. Currently, at STS Systems Support, LLC., since August 2020, Michael supports the Air Force Civil Engineering Center by training personnel and ensuring the accuracy of infrastructure data. Prior roles include engineering consultant at Cherokee Federal and senior technical specialist at Enercon Services, Inc., where responsibilities included leading engineering teams at prominent nuclear sites such as Grand Gulf and Farley Nuclear Power Plants. Michael's expertise spans various roles in nuclear engineering, training, and project management, supported by education in nuclear technology and electronics from Excelsior College and the U.S. Navy.
