Sushmita Y.

Sushmita Y. has been working in the accounting and finance field since 2017. Sushmita began their career as an Advisor at DHFL (Defence Insurance Vertical). Sushmita then moved to Silgo as an Associate Accountant in 2017, where they were responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounting for the month end process, supporting the year end process and audit, developing reconciliations and analytics to improve reporting, and reviewing and developing internal accounting controls and processes. In 2019, they joined Cellcap Service Ltd. as an Assistant Accountant, where they were responsible for accounts payable, preparing support with month-end and preparation of P&Ls and other financial reports, developing and refining processes and procedures to improve business operations, and helping with planning and negotiating with suppliers. In 2020, they joined 21st Security Services Pvt Ltd. as an Accounting Associate, where they contributed to the development of the Finance Function, ensured procedures and controls were documented, adhered to, and suggested improvements where appropriate. Currently, they are working at Stubben Edge as an Account Assistant and at Carbon13 as a Finance and Operation Officer, where they are responsible for improving operational systems, processes, and policies, managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, supporting on all operational functions, leading assessment and forecasts of financial performance against budget and cash flow, financial and operational goals, and managing Xero Accounting, payroll, pension scheme, employee benefits, purchase order, and operational goals.

Sushmita Y. began their educational journey in 2010, when they attended Central Academy in Alwar and completed their secondary education. Sushmita then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Raj Rishi college Alwar from 2012 to 2015, majoring in Accounting and Business/Management. After that, they attended Khalsa College Amritsar from 2015 to 2017, obtaining a Masters in Commerce degree with a focus in Accounting and Marketing. Currently, they are enrolled at Bangor University, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance.
