Kate Banyas

Kate Banyas is an experienced education professional with a focus on outdoor and environmental education. Currently serving as the Education Coordinator at the Student Conservation Association since February 2022, Kate previously held roles such as Outdoor Adventure Activity Head at Camp Wicosuta and Educator at Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. With a diverse background that includes positions as a Museum Educator & Camp Director at EcoTarium, Ski Instructor at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, and Program Director at Southern District YMCA/Camp Lincoln, Kate has developed and implemented educational curricula and programs for various age groups. Kate holds a Master of Science in Ecological Teaching and Learning from Lesley University and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural History Education from Sterling College.
