Lidia Soto-Harmon

Lidia Soto-Harmon currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Student Conservation Association, a position focused on inspiring youth to protect and heal the environment. Previously, Lidia was the Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital, leading the largest council in the country and supporting over 76,800 members. Lidia also held roles as Chief Operating Officer at the same organization, Senior Vice President for Community Development at First Book, and Deputy Director of the President's Interagency Council on Women at the U.S. Department of State. Further experience includes a Senior Director role at the Fannie Mae Foundation, a policy analyst position at the U.S. Department of Labor, and expertise in negotiating trade agreements. Lidia's educational background includes Executive Leadership programs at Stanford and Harvard, a fellowship from the National Hispana Leadership Institute, a Master's in Public Administration from George Mason University, and a Bachelor's degree from Drew University.
