Luke Carman is an experienced educator with a focus on community schools and mathematics education, possessing over fifteen years in the field. Currently, they serve as the Director of Community Schools Partnerships at Student U, leading initiatives across North Carolina to implement the Full Service Community Schools Model. They have also held positions as a lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where they taught various mathematics education courses. Previously, Luke worked as a mathematics teacher in both Chicago and Durham, contributing to curriculum development and student teacher supervision throughout their career.
