Remington Youngblood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Remington began their work experience as a Superintendent's Student Advisory Council Member at Forsyth County Schools in 2014, where they advised the superintendent on policies and education-related issues. In 2016, Youngblood served as the President of the Georgia State Superintendent Advisory Council, discussing how state-level decisions affect students in Georgia.
Additionally, Youngblood held various roles at the Georgia Department of Education, including Chairperson of Social Media Campaign and President of the Georgia State Superintendent Advisory Council. Remington successfully led a team in creating quality social media content and coordinating an editorial calendar.
Youngblood also contributed to The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change as a Planning Committee Member for The Race Factor. Remington played a vital role in organizing The Beloved Community Talks - The Race Factor, encouraging conversations to bridge the racial divide.
In 2021, Youngblood worked at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. as a Supervisor, overseeing and approving the work of interns nationwide and assisting in real estate course creation. Remington then joined Origami Risk in 2022 as a Business Development Representative. In this role, they built a strong client pipeline, utilized strategic planning and interpersonal skills, and gained valuable insights into various industries.
Lastly, Youngblood founded and served as the President of Change4Georgia, a non-profit organization that supports troops overseas, veterans, and their families. Under Youngblood's leadership, the organization raised over $3 million in cash and in-kind donations, collected thousands of books for schools statewide, and initiated numerous community-focused projects.
Throughout their work experience, Youngblood demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Remington has a passion for making a difference in their community and has been involved in various non-profit and educational initiatives.
Remington Youngblood earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Lambert High School from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Remington has obtained several certifications, including Salesforce Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2022, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in April 2021, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association in December 2020.
