Anna Sarpong serves as the Co-Vice President of the African Women's Leadership Organization, where efforts are focused on combating period poverty for women in Ghana and managing philanthropic events for afro-centric communities. Currently a Research Assistant at the Indiana University Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Anna is analyzing the effects of discrimination on various emotional and social outcomes. As a Campus Ambassador and IU Academic Peer Coach, Anna has enhanced the support system for students, while also assisting in teaching General Chemistry. Experience includes a social media role at the Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity Society, where notable engagement growth was achieved, and multiple internships with Visa, where project management and employee engagement strategies were developed. Anna is pursuing a dual degree in Neuroscience and Social Industrial Psychology at Indiana University Bloomington.
