Gyssell Perez

Gyssell Perez is a dedicated student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing education from August 2022 to July 2026. Prior to university, Gyssell completed a high school diploma at Aspire Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy from 2015 to 2022. Gyssell gained valuable experience through various internships, including roles at the Oakland Youth Commission and Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth (RJOY) from 2021 to 2022, as well as positions at the Young Women's Freedom Center and Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice (CURYJ) in 2018. Currently, Gyssell is affiliated with Students Rising Above, starting in 2021, supporting personal and professional development initiatives for fellow students.
