Leandra Cardenas

Leandra Cardenas is an experienced editor and writer with a strong focus on medical issues and support for cancer patients. As Editor in Chief at The Tumornator since February 2021, Leandra founded a blog for Cancer Kids First LA, overseeing content creation and member management. Previous roles include Content Writer for Med Scoop, Reporter for GSYJ STEM Journal, and contributing Writer for One Book for One Ethiopian. Leandra has participated in the Los Angeles Pediatric Society's Eve and Gene Black Summer Medical Career Program and multiple MedSTEMPowered initiatives, where skills in research and analysis were honed. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Loyola Marymount University, Leandra continues to advance knowledge and expertise in the medical field.
