Pierre-Olivier Moix

Pierre-Olivier Moix serves as the CTO at Studer Innotec SA since October 2018, overseeing the development and commercialization of battery-based energy conversion equipment for various applications. As a founder and board member of smartsuna, a spin-off of Studer Innotec, Pierre-Olivier focuses on photovoltaic solar installations. Previously, as co-founder of OFFGRID.CH, expertise was applied in providing energy solutions for off-grid systems. Experience as a project engineer at énergies sion région involved innovation projects in Smart-Grid and electric mobility. Pierre-Olivier also contributed as a professor at HES-SO Valais, specializing in Smart-Grids and renewable energy integration. Earlier roles included R&D in power electronics at Studer Innotec SA and a volunteer engineer position in Nepal for rural electrification. Academic qualifications include an engineering degree from EPFL and a CAS in energy management from the University of Geneva.
