Derek Blair is a highly experienced Creative Director and artist with a diverse background in the gaming and tech industries. Currently serving as Creative Director at Studio Atma since September 2013, Derek has held previous roles including Lead Artist at CCG Lab and Little Orbit, and 2D Artist/Animator at PopCap Games. Notably, Derek worked as a Concept Artist at Microsoft, where visual concepts for Hololens were developed, and contributed to UI/UX designs for various Microsoft platforms. Additional experience includes serving as Art Director/Lead Artist at Zachtronics Industries and a Visual Data Specialist at Google. Derek's influential career is traced back to contract roles in animation and 3D modeling for multiple companies, including significant contributions to major titles and presentations for Microsoft and Yahoo!/Bing. Derek holds an educational background from The Art Institutes, completing studies from 2005 to 2009.
