Nilay Desai

Nilay Desai is a Principal Architect and Co-founder at Studio Geneza Pvt. Ltd. since November 2020. Currently, Nilay also holds the position of a Visiting Professor at L. S. Raheja School of Architecture, where they teach Architecture Design to second-year B.Arch students. Prior to their current roles, Nilay worked as an Architect IB at CannonDesign, focusing on architectural projects. They also gained experience in working on large-scale government projects, including university campuses, public bridges, and railway stations at RATAN J. BATLIBOI - CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LIMITED. Nilay's early career included positions as a Junior Architect at Dilip Dave & Architects, where they worked on mid-scale residential projects, and internships at RaahGeer Citywalks focusing on city heritage walks, event promotion, and creative aspects like poster design. During their internships at Architect Umesh Bhatt, Nilay worked on various projects such as mass housing, landscape design, interior design, and institutional projects. Nilay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Dr. Baliram Hiray College Of Architecture and has pursued further education in real estate valuation, urban planning, and development.
