Kim Derome is a seasoned audio designer and composer with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently a Senior Audio Designer and Composer at Studio KRAFTON Montréal, Kim is involved in creating and implementing audio for a AAA medieval fantasy game based on the novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears. Previous experience includes roles as Audio Lead, Composer, and Sound Designer at Monster Closet Games and Square Enix, with contributions to notable titles such as Hitman Sniper: The Shadows and various Disney games during time at Gameloft. Kim's expertise spans sound design, music composition, and implementation using Wwise and Unreal Engine 5. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in music composition from Université de Montréal and a DEC in Music Performance from Cégep de Saint-Laurent.
