Software Engineering Lead at Studio Science

Brandon Jones has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Brandon is currently serving as a Software Engineering Lead at Studio Science since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at 7Summits as a Technical Lead from April 2020 to March 2021.

From May 2012 to April 2020, Brandon worked at Appirio as a Technical Architect. Their role included developing custom mobile applications using technologies such as Objective-C, Swift, AngularJS, and Cordova. Brandon leveraged Appirio's Crowd Platform and their personal expertise to deliver these technologies efficiently.

Before joining Appirio, Brandon served as an Undergraduate Fellow at The Digital Corps from October 2009 to May 2012. In this role, they developed various web, mobile, and video game applications for distinguished clients and the university itself. Brandon collaborated with cross-disciplinary teams and communicated directly with clients to achieve project milestones.

Additionally, Brandon worked as a Camp Counselor at Digital Corps Adventure Camp from June 2010 to June 2011. Brandon taught game design principles using GameSalad to middle school students and programming basics using Java and the Greenfoot game framework to high school students. Brandon oversaw multiple classes, assisted struggling students, and developed lesson plans.

Furthermore, Brandon gained technical support experience as a Tier 1 Technical Support representative at ManpowerGroup from May 2009 to October 2009. Brandon provided high-end technical support to Apple customers regarding iPod products on both Mac and Windows operating systems.

Brandon also worked as a Development Intern at Perkins Logistics from December 2007 to February 2009. In this role, they developed and maintained internal applications for a 50-employee office using C#, MSSQL, and JavaScript. Brandon provided support to drivers of a 200-truck fleet on using job-essential applications on their Blackberry mobile phones.

Brandon Jones completed high school at Hamilton Southeastern High School from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Computer Science degree at Ball State University from 2008 to 2012, where they graduated with Honors B.S. in Computer Science. In terms of certifications, Brandon obtained the Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer certification from Salesforce in September 2012. Additionally, they also earned the Adobe Dreamworks CS5 certification, although the specific month and year of achievement are not provided.
