Stephanie Whelan is an accomplished fashion professional with extensive experience in product development, currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion and as the Founder, Head of Product, and Global Sourcing Specialist at STUDIO-SW. Previous roles include Head of Product at RÆBURN and Senior Product Developer at Fred Perry, where Stephanie led premium collections and collaborations with notable designers. Early career experiences include positions at Lyle & Scott, ROSS X BUTE, and Gomez-Gracia, where responsibilities ranged from fabric sourcing to pattern making. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Womenswear from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the National College of Art & Design.

STUDIO-SW is a London based Fashion Product Development Consultancy, founded in January 2024 by Stephanie Whelan. Stephanie is an alumni of the prestigious Royal College of Art where she studied Fashion Womenswear, graduating in 2008. Stephanie has since worked in both menswear and womenswear gaining expertise in creating clothing and accessories for a wide-range of brands and designers. With the launch of Studio-SW, Stephanie aims to share her knowledge and expertise and help clients achieve their goals. We provide a flexible approach to sourcing, development and production management by providing a bespoke service for companies of all sizes and budgets.
