Diana Carey

Diana Carey is a professional with extensive experience in sound design and education. Currently serving as a Sound & Projections Apprentice at Studio Theatre since July 2023, Diana has also been a Sound Designer/Engineer since September 2018, specializing in text-driven audio atmospheres and adapting to online theatre. As a 7th Grade ELA Instructor at San Miguel School Washington DC from July 2021 to September 2023, Diana developed rigorous lesson plans that significantly improved student achievement. Previous roles include Events Coordinator and Student Ambassador at Saint Mary's College of California, culminating in planning and executing successful events while managing a team. Diana's early career featured audio work as an intern at Park Playhouse and performer at California's Great America, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Design and Technology and Performance and Theatre Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California.
