Valerie Mies has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Valerie began their career at the Village of Lake Zurich, Illinois as a Summer Camp Counselor, where they facilitated a fun and educational environment for campers and maintained accurate records. Valerie then worked as a Marketing Consultant at Apothe, where they led a website redesign project, conducted market research, and created monthly editorial calendars. Valerie also held positions at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as a Student Advancement Ambassador and Desk Receptionist. Currently, they are working at StudioNorth as a Social Media Coordinator and recently transitioned to the role of Social Media Manager.
Valerie Mies completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Valerie attended the university from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Photoshop 2021 Essential Training: The Basics from LinkedIn in June 2021.
