Otávio de O. Ribeiro

Otávio de O. Ribeiro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Otávio is currently serving as the Head of Division Engineering at Studsvik since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at STEAG Energy Services GmbH from 2017 to 2020, where they held the roles of Project Manager and Project Engineer Decommissioning & Dismantling. At NUKEM Technologies Engineering Services, they worked from 2014 to 2017 as a Project Engineer and Proposal Engineer, as well as completing a Master Thesis Internship. Otávio started their career at ELO Group in 2012 as a Consultant, specializing in Business Process Management, and worked as a Field Engineer Intern at Schlumberger in 2011.

Otávio de O. Ribeiro completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Control and Automation Engineering from Universidade de Brasília from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they also participated in an exchange program at Universidade do Porto in 2010. In 2012 to 2014, Otávio pursued two Master of Science degrees simultaneously. Otávio completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Nuclear Energy, Decommissioning & Waste Management from CentraleSupélec. Additionally, they obtained certifications including the InnoEnergy Master's School programme from InnoEnergy in 2014, the Goethe-Zertifikat C1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in 2013, and the Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2011.
