Matt Shakespeare

Matt Shakespeare has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Matt started their career in 2006 as a Hotel Manager at Arden Hotel & Leisure Club, where they were responsible for overseeing operations, managing sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Matt implemented various strategies to improve profitability and received recognition for their achievements, including gaining Investors In People status. In 2012, they joined The Stratford Q Hotels as an Operations Manager, where they monitored and improved key performance indicators and was responsible for health and safety. Since 2014, they have been working at Study Inn, where they have held several roles, including Group Operations Manager, Operations Director Designate, and currently, Managing Director.

Matt Shakespeare completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports Studies from the University of Worcester, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Matt then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Hospitality Business Management from University College Birmingham for the period 2008-2012.
