Nutan Shukla, PhD

Nutan Shukla, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and data analysis. In 2014, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Biju Patnaik University of Technology, where they taught various courses and guided students in their thesis work. From 2016 to 2021, they served as a Data Analyst at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they worked on data ingestion, pre-processing, analysis, and visualization using multiple tools. Nutan also developed a pre-failure indicator using machine learning during this time. In 2022, Nutan joined AppReef as a Power Platform Consultant, where they worked with different clients in model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Nutan took a lead in requirement gathering, implementation, documentation, and client presentations. Currently, they are working as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant at Studyportals.

Nutan Shukla obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, from 2008 to 2012. After that, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Digital Signal and Image Processing from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University from 2012 to 2014. Nutan furthered their education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Application of Digital Image Correlation (DIC) in the Mining Industry at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Nutan has obtained various certifications. In 2023, they received the certification of "Getting things Done" from The Campus and became a Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) through Microsoft. In 2022, Nutan acquired certifications in Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals, all from Microsoft. In the same year, they also completed the "Microsoft Power Platform Foundations" certification from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in 2021, Nutan obtained certifications in Agile Development Practices, Artificial Intelligence Tools and Concepts, and Scrum fundamentals from LinkedIn. In terms of Microsoft certifications, they became a Microsoft Certified Power Platform App Maker Associate, Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Marketing Functional Consultant Associate, Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate, and Microsoft Certified Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate. All these Microsoft certifications were achieved in either 2022 or 2023.
