Milla Korhonen

Milla Korhonen has extensive experience in materials engineering and radiation safety, currently serving as an Inspector in Radiation in Industry at STUK - Säteilyturvakeskus since August 2016, following a role as a Master's thesis worker focused on leak tightness of sealed radioactive source capsules. Previous experience includes a summer trainee position in product development at SSAB, where responsibilities involved corrosion and formability studies, and several traineeships at companies such as Outotec and Boliden Harjavalta Oy in product development and production roles, respectively. Milla Korhonen holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Tampere University of Technology, complemented by a Finnish Matriculation Examination from Kuopion Lyseon lukio.
