Derek Clemons

Derek Clemons has a diverse work experience, starting in 1996 when they joined MTD Products as a General Manager. Derek worked there until 2014. In 2011, they became a Board Member at TWIN LAKES REGIONAL CENTER, serving until 2014. From 2014 to 2022, they held the position of Vice President & General Manager at Stupp Bridge. In 2000, they became a Board Member (ME Advisory & Industrial Partnership) at Western Kentucky University, a role they still hold. Recently, in 2022, Derek Clemons became the President of Stupp Bridge Co.

Derek Clemons has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Western Kentucky University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 1993 to 1997. Derek completed their high school education at Grayson County High School from 1989 to 1992. Derek is currently pursuing a specialization in Mergers & Acquisitions at Columbia Business School, starting in 2023. Derek also holds certifications in Lean Bronze Certification and Six Sigma Green Belt, obtained in 2007, and has participated in the Leadership Kentucky program. Additionally, they have obtained further education in Executive Leadership Cohort from the Scarlett Institute of International Management & Technology Private Limited.
