Dann Boyer, CHFM has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dann began their career as a Control Room Operator at El Paso Electric Company in 1999 and later worked as a Control Room Operator at Dominion and PurEnergy Operating Services, LLC. In 2004, they joined Sturdy Memorial Hospital as the Chief Engineer and went on to become the Director of Facilities Operations in 2011. In addition to their roles in various organizations, Dann has also held leadership positions in professional societies such as the New England Healthcare Engineers Society Inc, where they served as the Secretary and currently holds the position of President. Dann has also had teaching experience as the Vice President and Instructor at the Massachusetts & Rhode Island School of Boiler Operations.

Dann Boyer, CHFM has a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Champlain College, which they obtained from 2015-2018. Prior to that, they attended Bristol Community College from 2008-2013, where they received a degree in Engineering Technology with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Dann'seducation history dates back to their high school years, when they obtained a High School Diploma in House and Mill Carpentry from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School from 1984-1988. In addition to their formal education, Boyer has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager certification from the American Hospital Association in 2014, a Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer certification from the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety in 2007, and a Stationary Engineer License from the City of Providence, Rhode Island in 1998.
