David Becker

David Becker is an experienced project professional with a robust background in civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Project Officer at Sturgeon County since July 2015, David Becker has overseen various grading, base, and paving projects, managing quality control and project documentation. Prior to this role, David Becker worked as a Project Engineer at OPUS Stewart Weir from May 2011 to July 2015, where responsibilities included preparing design and tender packages for county projects, along with progress payment preparations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Material Technologist at Stewart Weir from May 2007 to August 2010, focusing on QA/QC testing and soil surveys. David Becker holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and completed initial engineering studies at MacEwan University.
