Mark Morrissey

Mark Morrissey has a diverse background in economic development and innovation, with experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Economic Innovation & Growth at Sturgeon County, Mark previously held the position of Director of Economic Development at the City of Fort Saskatchewan. Prior to their municipal roles, Mark was a City Councillor in Iqaluit and also served as the Committee Chair for the Community Economic Development Committee. With their experience as the Executive Director of the Nunavut Economic Developers Association and as a Student Recruitment Officer at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.
