Colton Nickelson is an experienced media professional with a strong background in broadcasting, sports media, and live event production. Currently serving as a Radio Broadcast Engineer at South Dakota Public Broadcasting since May 2022, Colton also directs video for concerts at The Legendary Buffalo Chip while maintaining extensive involvement in sports media as the Director of Sports Media and Marketing at Black Hills State University from September 2010 to May 2022. With skill sets that include video editing, production coordination, and graphic design, Colton has held various roles within the sports and entertainment sectors, contributing to both game-day experiences and promotional efforts. Colton holds a Master of Mass Communication-Journalism degree from South Dakota State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication/Multimedia and Graphic Design from Black Hills State University.
