Kate Webster Read

Kate Webster Read has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Currently, they are working as an Operations Manager at Stuzo since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Project Manager, Graphics/Content Manager, and Production Coordinator from January 2019 to December 2021, where they successfully led groups in event and production execution, managed client relations, and oversaw production planning and logistics.

From December 2014 to December 2018, Kate worked as a Project Manager at WRG Live, where they planned and executed corporate meetings, live events, and exhibit booths for various clients. Kate also managed project budgets and schedules and facilitated content creation for pharmaceutical exhibit booths.

Before that, from March 2011 to October 2014, Kate worked as a Production Manager at Sprout (NBC Universal), where they were responsible for managing budgets, creating project estimates and timelines for promotions and marketing initiatives, and handling integrated marketing media buys.

From November 2010 to March 2011, Kate worked as a Production Manager in the Opera Department at Northwestern University, where they managed all aspects of production and scheduled technical elements for multiple productions.

Kate's early work experience includes roles as an Assistant Production Office Coordinator at ABC and ABC Family from November 2009 to July 2010, where they processed production paperwork and managed studio and vendor relations. Kate also worked at Blue Man Group as an Outside Event Manager, Production Coordinator, and General Management Coordinator from January 2005 to December 2008, where they produced corporate performances and marketing events.

Lastly, they worked as a Tour Manager for "Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz" at Broadway In Chicago from August 2003 to July 2004. In this role, they handled financial management, show logistics, and negotiated hotel discounts for the production.

Kate Webster Read attended Northwestern University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. During their time at Northwestern University, they focused their studies on Theatre and Business Institutions. In 2009, they attended UCLA for a professional program in producing, earning a certificate.
