Haley Smith

Haley Smith, EI, is a Stormwater Engineer 1 at STV since May 2023, where responsibilities include site reconnaissance and the design of Erosion and Sediment Control plans for NCDOT bridge replacement projects. Previously, as a Stormwater Engineering Specialist at Stantec from May 2022 to May 2023, Haley performed post-construction site walks, utilized Autodesk Civil 3D for construction as-builts, and updated design manuals for a municipal agency in North Carolina. Prior experience includes serving as Pollution Prevention Coordinator at the ECU Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering from October 2020 to May 2022, which involved leadership supervision, investigating energy-saving recommendations for food and beverage facilities, and conducting cost-benefit analyses. Haley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an Environmental Concentration and a Minor in Mathematics from East Carolina University, completed in May 2022.
