Travis Phy

Travis Phy, E.I., Assoc. DBIA, currently serves as a Civil Engineering Specialist at STV since January 2023. Previously, Travis worked as a Project Estimator at FTM Contracting from May 2021 to January 2023, where analysis of completed civil designs led to itemized project bid estimates exceeding $40 million, and participation in preconstruction meetings facilitated clear communication of expectations and budgets. Prior experience includes serving as a Construction Operations Intern at the Tennessee Department of Transportation in summer 2019, supervising subcontractor teams on projects with average budgets of $5 million while utilizing MicroStation for progress monitoring. Initial industry exposure came from a Construction Internship at Foutch Builders from July 2017 to August 2018, where Travis gained insight into construction plans and site preparation. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
